About Mark

If you’re feeling stressed, low on energy, or disconnected from your body, these practices offer a simple way back.

I began studying Tai Chi in 1985, during a demanding time working in the entertainment industry. What started as a way to manage stress became something more—an immediate, tangible sense of balance, clarity, and restored energy.

That experience shaped the direction of my life and work.

My approach is straightforward:
use breath, movement, and intention to support the body’s natural ability to heal and regulate itself.

The practices I teach are simple, adaptable, and grounded in direct experience. They are not about performance or perfection, but about learning to feel and work with your own energy.

Alongside teaching, I maintained a private acupuncture practice from 1990 to 2024, working with a wide range of conditions over more than three decades. I also spent 15 years teaching Tai Chi and treating patients at the Disney Family Cancer Center.

That clinical work continues to inform how I teach—keeping the emphasis on gentle, effective methods that support the whole person.

I hold a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, am certified through the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi, and have served on the board of the National Qigong Association.

Students come for many reasons—stress, low energy, physical limitations, or a sense that something is missing.

What they often discover is a quieter, more steady presence… and a practice they can return to each day.

If that resonates, you’re welcome here.
