A steady place to begin
If you’re feeling stressed, low on energy, or disconnected from your body, these practices offer a way to return to something more steady and natural.
The methods are simple, accessible, and grounded in direct experience. You don’t need prior training, flexibility, or a particular belief system—just a willingness to begin.
Many people are familiar with Tai Chi as a slow, flowing movement practice. What is taught here draws from both Tai Chi and Qigong traditions, with an emphasis on health, balance, and internal development.
What this practice supports
- reducing stress and tension
- improving energy and circulation
- supporting balance, mobility, and coordination
- developing a consistent daily practice
Over time, the practice becomes less something you do, and more something you can return to.
A grounded approach
I’ve been studying and practicing Tai Chi and Qigong since 1985.
Alongside teaching, I maintained a private acupuncture practice from 1990 to 2024, and spent 15 years treating patients at the Disney Family Cancer Center.
My approach is shaped by both long-term personal practice and clinical experience, with an emphasis on methods that are gentle, effective, and adaptable.

A practical foundation
The distinction between Tai Chi and Qigong becomes less important in practice, where breath, movement, and awareness work together as one.
The teaching is informed by traditional principles and long-standing meditation practice, including Transcendental Meditation, but offered in a way that is practical, accessible, and grounded in direct experience.
The emphasis is not on performance, but on awareness, balance, and continuity.
Begin where you are
This is not a quick fix, but a practice you can return to—daily, simply, and over time.
If that resonates, you’re welcome here.
